Lovely, the little lad deserves to be remembered by those who loved him.

But still, we need to know, WHAT KIND OF DOGS ENDED HIS LIFE!!!!

Anything less is both corrupt, being deliberately obfuscated, AND potentially dangerous to other children.

  Kris KingJust saw the gofundme page. That is infuriating! I can't get donations for a bag of dog food after rescuing 751 dogs, 22 cats, and 19 horses. I have also given many free riding lessons to children with physical and emotional issues because their parents couldn't afford it. I also have a dog here who needs to be euthanized but I can't afford it due to medical bills. My pleas fall on deaf ears but these irresponsible parents are getting donations?

  The original article stated that they were "not pit bulls". That was a suspicious statement in itself. Last year in Canada, 4 "Akita mixes" mauled someone. When they finally showed photos of the dogs, they were absolutely mostly pit. My guess is that these dogs are pit mixes or a pit type ( I.e. American Bulldogs) but none of us has seen photos. Cannot imagine what that poor child went through.

  Laurel Davis "the family is trying to raise $35,000 to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital." I can donate directly to St. Jude--no need for a middle man. The mother was friends with the dog owners--she has seen the dogs. Why would the father not know?

  Jan SmithWhether or not the killers were pit bull type dogs, this family is refusing to protect other children's lives when they refuse to tell what breed or type of dogs it was. Since they're refusing to help protect the next child from being mauled or killed, they deserve no help. 
  
  It would be different if we were contributing to help this poor boy, but he is beyond that now. I don't think these parents should be rewarded for that.
